two questions

Two Questions

1) I'm trying to turn off User Account Control so I don't constantly keep receiving these messages "Is it okay to install?" "You just put a CD in the CD Drive, can I install it?" "Are you sure?" "I'm detecting a Download, can I proceed?" I can't even open a webpage or an application without Vista prompting me to confirm.
You get the idea... I wanna turn all that crap off. How do I do it?
2) I'm trying to install the patch for World of Warcraft but it won't work. It just says "Failed to apply Patch". Might be due to the User Control, but I'm not sure. Anyone know what I can do?

Open Windows Defender in Control Panel, and review settings. Also see the HELP files.

Control panel - user accounts - click on your account then click change security settings. Remove the tick from the tickbox for uac. You will get a security center alert though. Not sure how to turn this bit off.

Do the above, you will then have to reboot
Turn off security centre, see this webpage
